We could like to inform you that £2458 was raised

Walk away from the roundabout, towards the railway bridge, then first left (into Ingram Way), and first left again (into Courthope Road) and we're on the left hand side. The southbound buses travel south along Oldfield Lane North. Get off at William Perkins School, which is the second bus stop (called "Courthope Road") after the Greenford Station/Maggies Fish Shop bus stop, then walk back towards Greenford station. Take the first right and we're on the right hand side.

About Greenford
Greenford, in Middlesex, is a small town to the West of London (actually in the London Borough of Ealing) which dates back to Anglo Saxon times, and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. From being an agricultural community centred around Holy Cross Church on the Oldfield Lane, it gained a significant industrial centre following the completion of the Grand Junction Canal in 1800. The Greenford we recognise today follows on from the expansion of the railway to the town in 1904, when Greenford station was opened. This was followed by a revised road structure, when the Greenford Road (running from North to South) and both Western Avenue and Whitton Avenue (running from East to West) were opened and developed in the 1920's and 1930's. The majority of housing in the area was built around this time. The heart of Greenford has now shifted to the Red Lion junction (at the crossroads of Greenford Road and Ruislip Road), which is the focal point for shops and buses. However, this has recently been challenged by the development of the Westway Cross Shopping Centre which is one mile away, and is closer to Greenford Station, and Holy Cross Church, the original centre of the town.
(Historical information taken from the book "Greenford, Northolt and Perivale Past" by Frances Hounsell )
